We have some fun in the sun with a Suzuki Jimny 5 door and 3 Door. In this video we take them off road to test the 4×4 ability and compare it to the 3 door legend. We also find (to our surprise!!) how much better the automatic gearbox is on the JB74 than we thought. Tough 4×4 tracks with steep incline and declines at Hobby Park 4×4 in the West Rand was our testing ground and the Jimny’s both delivered in terms of their 4×4 ability. The 3 door jimny was fitted with 215 section A/T Grabbers and the 5 door was on the standard 195 section rubber as supplied when bought new, apart from that, the vehicles are completely stock. As I own the 3 door in this vid (bought new and now has 30 000km on) I was really curious to see how much different these two vehicles would be, and they were!!
