We had a Jimny Land Venture just about to go out to a customer, and decided to shoot this video to illustrate the difference 40mm makes to the height of a car.
This is made possible because we have an almost identical Wild Wind in stock which we have just about finished preparing.
Both cars are pearlescent white, and both sat at the same height before the lift – and it seemed we would miss a golden opportunity to document them standing side by side.
The ‘Old Man Emu’ lift is subtle, but at the same time noticeable.
The car feels higher, and looks to have a better, stronger more capable stance.
It hard to describe, but it’s almost like seeing someone slouch – then stand up straight.
It will drive better, it will feel tighter, and there will be no wallowing on corners. Couple this with the more direct steering of an added ‘Black Raptor’ damper, and the corrosion free special edition Land Venture Jimny is transformed.
