This week on the DoneDeal YouTube channel we’re reviewing the all-new Suzuki Jimny. It’s an extremely impressive little SUV with the off roading credibility too.
The Jimny comes in a 5 speed manual with a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. It drives around in rear wheel drive however it’s possible to put it in 4-wheel drive and even low range 4 wheel drive for when your climbing steep inclines or towing – the towing capacity is 1,300kgs.
In Ireland the Jimny is only available as a commercial vehicle with two front seats, but it makes for an ideal car to brand and showcase your business.
Whilst it could benefit from a 6th gear and a locking differential, it really is a charismatic and fun car to drive. Around town it’s nimble, easy to move around and relatively efficient.
Our test model was the lower spec level version (which we would actually recommend), however it is possible to spec it with alloy wheels, apple car play and a few other creature comforts. That said, the base model has emergency braking, cruise control and lane departure warning!
